Hunter
I didn’t mean to star in a sex tape, okay?
It was just one of those unexplainable things. Like Stonehenge, Police Academy 2, and morning glory clouds.
It just happened.
Now my ball-busting father is sentencing me to six months of celibacy, sobriety, and morbid boredom under the roof of Boston’s nerdiest girl alive, Sailor Brennan.
The virginal archer is supposed to babysit my ass while I learn to take my place in Royal Pipelines, my family’s oil company.
Little does she know, that’s not the only pipe I’ll be laying…Sailor
I didn’t want this gig, okay?
But the deal was too sweet to walk away from.
I needed the public endorsement; Hunter needed a nanny.
Besides, what’s six months in the grand scheme of things?
It’s not like I’m in danger of falling in love with the appallingly gorgeous, charismatic gazillionaire who happens to be one of Boston’s most eligible bachelors.
No. I will remain immune to Hunter Fitzpatrick’s charm.
Even at the cost of losing everything I have.
Even at the cost of burning down his kingdom.
The Hunter is coming and OMG, it is EVERYTHING. I absolutely devoured this book. The romance wrecks you in the best way. It’s MAJOR feels, all the swoon. I AM IN SO LOVE with every word and have the biggest BOOK HANGOVER after finishing it. YOU MUST READ IT. Review below. This one is another WINNER from LJ!

Angie’s Review
“Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and live?” he asked, almost brokenly. I’d never seen him so bare, so raw. “You have to let life touch you. Drown a little with me, baby.”
HUNTER
HUNTERRRRR
HUNTERRRRRRRRRR
Oh my gosh, I AM A MESS FOR THAT MAN! I don’t even know where to start. All I know is that every time I finish a LJ Shen book, I feel as if I need to sit back and release a soul deep breath. Her words wind me, and I lose myself in them completely. They’re all-consuming, her characters so compelling and smart, so sassy and sarcastic, so wicked and heartbreaking. They have FIRE in their souls! You can’t stop yourself from FALLING deep deep deep in love. You have no control. And goodness, does she know how to write an assholes hero (lol), all the while delivering on the most EPIC romance!
“He was fearless, and a rebel, and a sinner, and a saint.
A prince who’d never wanted his title.
A pure-hearted rake.
He was everything a woman should run away from, personified. And yet here I was, falling deeper.”
IT’S THE BEST. I have to say that The Hunter is yet another LJ Shen HIT. It’s chock-full of magnetic characters, sharp comebacks, witty remarks, and achingly tender feels. It grips you by the heart, holds you completely captive as Hunter crawls under your skin. This man is something special, you guys! He’s a lost boy—beaten down and broken and empty—desperately trying to find things to fill up the bleeding spaces of his heart.
Sailor Brennan (Troy Brennan’s daughter) is the downright PERFECT fit for him. She’s sweet and sassy, smart and driven, kind and good. She’s definitely the light to his dark, and she brings our man to life. She makes you see him, feel him, understand and love him, and it hurts so damn good.
“You can survive this,” he whispered into my mouth.
“This?”
“Us. I have a glass soul, baby. Pretty to look at, but it breaks easily, can make you bleed, and nobody gets attached to it.”
From start to finish, this was next level. I devoured it, couldn’t get enough of the push and pull between Hunter and Sailor. I lived for the drama, for the suspense, the complicated family dynamic, for the scrumptious romance. It was everything good—heart aching feels, filthy sex, loads of angst. I LOVED it. An absolute FIVE STAR must read.
