At first glance I probably seem like any good-looking guy in their late twenties. I have an obscene amount of confidence, a tattooed body sculpted by the Nordic gods, and I love the ladies as much as they love me.
If I’m not BASE jumping or car racing, I’m chasing other devious thrills with the woman of the week. And that’s fine if you’re the average single guy.
But I'm not the average single guy.
I’m Crown Prince Magnus of Norway and my latest scandal just landed my entire royal family in hot water.
Now the only way the monarchy can save face is for me to smarten up – publicly. If I don’t, I’ll no longer be heir apparent to the throne. So it’s either I abdicate my future role as King or…
I get married.
To a blue-blooded stranger.
Enter Princess Isabella of the tiny country of Liechtenstein.
Quiet, intelligent, and uniquely beautiful, Ella doesn’t like this arrangement any more than I do and she’s not afraid to show it. She says I’m a womanizer, that I don’t take anything seriously, that my ego should be taken down a few pegs, and I think she aims to make me miserable for the rest of my life.
But even as our arranged marriage becomes a war of wit and words, I’m determined to break through Ella’s prim and proper façade to find the wild, sexual and risk-taking woman underneath. I want to uncover the Queen inside her.
The only question is – will she let me?**The Wild Heir is a standalone royal romance and a spinoff of The Swedish Prince but it is not necessary to read that book beforehand as The Wild Heir is about different characters**
YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU IN THIS BOOK! It’s all FEELS! And I am just dead over these characters. They’re everything. So sweet. Soo hot. Just so incredibly hot. I’m absolutely crazy in love with Magnus and Ella! Oh the romance, the sweetness, the dirty, filthy mouth of Magnus! I. AM. WRECKED! You guys have to read it. It’s a complete standalone. Reviews are below. But man, what a ride. Gah. I’m breathless.

5 “This was Everything” Stars!
I AM SO COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED!!!
I AM SO BREATHLESS!
I AM WRECKED BY THESE TWO!
I don’t even know where to begin! I feel fucked up with feels, giddy, intoxicated. I just can’t… a book hangover is happening right now! My gosh, I dreaded the end of this. I just didn’t want it to end. I was so IN THIS BOOK! I was just so INTO this couple. I was overpowered by them. It’s another level of yumminess. Another friggin level. And man, I ADORE the way Karina Halle writes her heroes. They’re all so different, yet so so so alpha and sexy and base and primal and MANLY! Oh the masculineness of Magnus. His filthy mouth. His rough edges. His soft heart.
I DIE OVER HIM!
I DIE A MILLION DEATHS OVER HIM!!!!
This is just the BEST royal romance I have ever read. It’s got all the feels. The awkward ones when Magnus and Ella meet. To the sweet and intriguing ones where a slowburn commences and a friendship is formed. And then you get to the ALL CONSUMING feels when that tentative friendship changes and becomes charged with a heavy sexual chemistry that BURNS you from the inside out. And it’s EVERYTHING!
Magnus is a bad boy Prince with one hell of a reckless reputation. At the start of The Wild Heir he finds himself in hot water with his family. A sex tape has been released of him with the Prime Ministers daughter. It’s not good. The Royal reputation is in ruins and his family is insisting that if Magnus wants to be King someday he needs to settle down and get married. If not, if has to abdicated. Those are his choices. Not wanting to give up his chance to rule and disappoint his father, Magnus knows there’s no way out of this situation, so he picks a Bride, which is Princess Isabella of Leichtenstein…. and HOLY SLOW BURN!!!!!!!
It’s ABSOLUTELY everything! The most decadent ride with all those magically giddy feels and a swift kick of angst that will keep you on your toes! What starts off as a rough go for both the Prince and Princess turns into something so heated and sexy and sweet and heartwarming! I could swoon for days and days and DAYS!!! It’s heart and romance, and I’m in love. I’m so in love I can’t even form coherent thoughts. Karina Halle outdid herself with The Wild Heir. It’s undoubtably one of my most FAVORITE books of hers. It’s just so incredible! Once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. Didn’t want to. Ella is such a soft hearted character with the best disposition there is. And Magnus is just a BEAST!
This book spoke to me. It was all consuming. I can’t swoon over it enough. You absolutely have to read it. If you don’t, you’re just missing out. And you should know… THIS IS A COMPLETE STANDALONE! It is a spinoff of The Swedish Prince, but Magnus had a very small roll in that book. The Wild Heir is a new Country, new King, new Queen, new characters. It barely interconnects with the character in the first book! So just read it! READ IT. READ IT!

4 “Yes. This.” Stars!
If I were the type to judge a book by its cover, I would’ve insisted this book was going to be fantastic before I even began reading. The deliciously stunning cover of The Wild Heir is my favorite to date from this author. I want to lick it and touch it and ogle it all day long. The icing on the cake comes in the form of the unputdownable royal romance that evolves between the pages. The Wild Heir is a slow burning story of a marriage of convenience that I absolutely adored. I devoured this book and thoroughly enjoyed every single page.
Magnus, the Prince of Norway, is reckless and wild and rebellious. He’s impulsive and his antics eventually come back to bite him. In lieu of the rapidly deteriorating public opinion of the royal family, Magnus is urged to demonstrate that he takes his royal responsibilities seriously by finding a suitable wife. But the demure yet headstrong Princess Isabella of Lichtenstein turns out to be everything Prince Magnus never expects, and one he comes to fight for rather than dread.
The push and pull in this story is everything. This story sees Magnus and Ella through many phases of their rapidly changing relationship and through each new stage of their dynamic comes complicated emotion, fierce attraction and the delicious bite of sexual tension. As the royals evolve from strangers to pseudo-friends to comrades in their reluctance to wed, their contrived romance drifts towards one that is genuine and IT IS YUMMY to see. I was riveted by this story, so consumed by what would come as the story moved along. I love a royal romance and I couldn’t put this one down.
The Wild Heir is refreshing and light but remains sexy and heartfelt all at once. It’s peppered with sharp humor, edged in a bit of sadness, and there’s a good dose of angst courtesy of a red headed villain. To my surprise, these Norwegian royals weren’t stuffy or haughty, something I have come to expect from books surrounding royalty. Instead they’re unapologetically down to earth, their banter is rife with humor and they truly seem like ordinary people with extraordinary titles attached to their names. This, like every book she writes, is a refreshing change of pace for Karina Halle and one that makes my appreciation for her writing and storytelling continue to grow. The Wild Heir is an unpredictable page turner full of wildly magnetic personalities, slow burning royal romance and it’s a testament to family that I absolutely loved.
